	Phil's Blogservations Wednesday, May 28, 2003 Posted by philgomes 3:16 PM CNET On Technology's "Sweeps Week" CNET's Mike Kanellos wrote a great piece on how technology companies tend to cluster their competing announcements around each other's. He likens it to what broadcasters call "sweeps week." It's an odd form of herd mentality. I especially like how the writer condensed the typical presentation into haiku. For my part, I have communicated in haiku with Semico Research Corp. analyst Jim Handy since about 1998 or so.
