Leaving Edelman
Leaving Edelman
After two-and-a-half years at Edelman, I've decided to pursue other opportunities.
In a couple of weeks, I will be joining Korey, Carlyle, Cyrus, Leon, and Co-Host 3000 at Spill.Com — a movie review community site based on the animation work of Korey Coleman.
Since meeting the real-life Korey in Austin earlier this month at an Edelman event, I have grown to admire his humor, enthusiasm, candor, online-community instincts, and passion for his chosen craft.
Many have tried to join The Spill Crew, and I don't blame them. I mean, really... Who wouldn't want to hang out with these guys, have A Couple Of Cold Ones (abbreviated ACOCO), and even voice an animated version of oneself?
So, before the jealous haters start with me, know that I've been brought on board because I have distinguished myself in the following ways:
- My encyclopedic knowledge of Cold-War-era science fiction film and television
- My dazzling profile on the Spill.Com site
- My contributions to the "Metal Heads Unite" group
Anyways... I shall miss all of my Edelman colleagues. I've learned an incredible amount this past quarter decade.
Perhaps I'll hear from the MATTER folks? I'd welcome it.
In any case, thanks again to the Edelman gang for a wonderful couple of years at the forefront of communications.
As for now, "ACOCO" await! I'll raise a few in your honor.

Note that the views expressed on this site do not necessarily reflect those of Phil's employer, its business partners, its clients, or anyone or anything that doesn't come from Phil's demented imagination. Hell, to be perfectly honest, even Phil disagrees with what he thinks sometimes.
This site has virtually no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Clicking on a link doesn't automatically send a 1/2-cent donation to UNICEF. You can't buy, sell, auction, swap, find a date, win friends, influence people, cross the chasm, or decode the human genome using this site. You won't get free email. You won't win a free video game console. This site will not end world hunger, foster peace in the Middle East, help you smell better, teach you how to swing dance, or move the global economy from petroleum to hydrogen fuels. You'll learn a lot about this site's master, though, which amounts to a haphazard collection of strange and useless facts that pretty much won't help you at all.
